I had sighted assistance for this and AVG 8.0 was installed for me. But I got into add and and remove programs, accidentally deleted outlook express, and to make a long story short restored my system back to 2 days previously. Now I can't tell if AVG is protecting my computer as it is not in my system tray. I have jaws 6.0 and windows XP. Any suggestions appreciated.

You need to get the latest version of jaws. If you don't, You won't be able to access it.

hey most likely if you do not see it in your add remove programs it is not protecting you.

thanks for the advice. I have the demo of jaws 9 but now I at least can know where to look to see if I am protected. Thanks again.
